06 For founders
How a deal happens here, what the term sheet looks like and what we do after the money lands. No warm intro needed.
01 The process
Four weeks, four steps.
Most firms take three months. We take four weeks because we decide as a partnership, at one table, on one day.
Day 0
You send two paragraphs and a link. A partner reads it within a week, usually sooner.
Week 1
Forty-five minutes. You draw the product in four, then we ask the questions everyone else is too polite to.
Week 2
You meet the whole partnership. We read the appendix, call three customers and send you our notes either way.
Week 4
A term sheet that fits on one page, signed by a partner who will take your call on a Sunday.
02 The term sheet
If it needs a second page, something on the first one is wrong.
Ours is standard, founder-friendly and short. No participation, no ratchets, no board seat before Series A unless you ask for one.

05 Founder FAQ
Before you send it.
Still stuck? Email the partner whose focus fits. Their addresses are on their profiles, and they do read them.
Meet the partners →
No. Two paragraphs and a link through the pitch form reach the same partners an introduction would. About a third of our portfolio came in cold.
First cheques from US$250k at pre-seed to US$5M at Series A, and we reserve for follow-on through Series B.
Usually. We lead or co-lead about four in five of our first investments, and we are happy to bring in other funds.
Not before Series A unless you ask. At seed we take an observer seat and turn up prepared.
You get a written reason within a week, and usually notes. Several of our best companies were a no the first time.
Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia, with the odd exception for a founder who keeps emailing.
